I missed it again last night due to kids' baseball/softball games. When I heard it was Neil Diamond night, I'm kinda glad I missed it. Neil Diamond made plenty of $$$ in his day, and I guess he still does OK in Vegas, but if he was 40 years or so younger and on Idol, I'm not sure he would have even made it to Hollywood. If so, he wouldn't make the final five. I don't see this format fitting any of the final five and I guess it showed. Hope they don't pull a Beatles and do it again next week!
Idol def isn't as spontaneous as we might think. There were a lot of rumors going around last year that Sanjaya was forced off rather than voted off...because of "vote for the worst". It does say in the rules that the outcome is at producer's discretion...although I would HOPE they usually go by the vote.
Haha, you guys are funny. I think it's a BIGGER deal that PAULA IS PSYCHO. I kind of hope she is on drugs, because if so, at least it's an excuse.
